We invite you to join the Mindful based stress release exercises group workshop at Mindfulness Development Association (Društvo za razvijanje čuječnosti) on the 6th of September! The Workshop will be held in English language.

What are Mindful based stress release exercises?

Combination of Mindfulness approach with TRE exercises – TRE stands for tension & stress release exercises. These exercises are based on the simple idea, supported by research, that stress and tension are psychological and physical phenomena.

TRE is a set of 7 physical exercises that, under safe conditions, activate the natural reflex mechanism of shaking and vibration that releases tension from muscles, calming the nervous system. When this muscle shake/vibration reflex is activated in a safe environment, the body is encouraged to return to balance.

Mindfulness helps us connect better with our senses through this process, notice the sensations and the movement of the body, while practicing our attention to be present and our bodies grounded.

What do you need to participate?

– After you apply for the workshop you will need to fill out a short questionnaire.

– At the session, it is important that you are comfortably dressed (loose t-shirt, leggings etc.).

– Do not consume alcohol or marijuana before the workshop.

– Yoga mats will be provided at the workshop, but if you like, you can bring yours as well.

Location and time

Workshop will be held at Cankarjeva 9 in Ljubljana, in two slots on Tuesday, 6th of September 2022.

  • First slot: 17:30 – 19:00
  • Second slot: 19:30 – 21:00

You can pick the slot (time frame) which works best for you. We invite you to arrive at the venue 5-10 minutes earlier.

Price and application

The workshop fee is 40 €. Your place is reserved after payment. Number of participants is limited to 12 participants per group so reserve your spot on time!
